Promotion Terms and conditions

2000 Followers $2,000 Cash Giveaway

Thank you for being one of our first 2,000 followers. To celebrate, AR Energy is giving away $2,000 cash to one lucky member of our community. These terms set out how the giveaway works and how a winner is chosen. By entering, you accept these terms.

1. The Promoter

The promoter is AR Energy Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 36 974 013 831), of 1/73a Graves Street, Newton SA 5074 ("AR Energy". "we","us").

2. Who can enter

• Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over at the time of entry.
• Employees of AR Energy and their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this promotion, are not eligible to enter.
• You must enter from a genuine personal Instagram account. Multiple, fake or automated accounts will be disqualified.

3. Promotion period

The promotion opens at 12:00am ACST on 1 July 2026 and closes at 5:00pm ACST on 31 July 2026. Entries received after this time will not be counted

4. How to enter

To enter, during the promotion period you must:

• Follow @arenergy_au on Instagram; and
• Leave a comment on the giveaway post (tagging a friend is welcome but not required).

One entry per person. Additional comments do not earn additional entries. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary to enter or win. The winner must be following @arenergy_au at the time the prize is claimed.

5. The prize

There is one (1) prize: AUD $2,000 in cash, paid by electronic bank transfer to an Australian bank account nominated by the winner. The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for any other form. The total prize pool is $2,000.

6. How the winner is chosen

The winner will be chosen by a manual random draw from all valid comment entries. Each eligible person has one (1) chance to win. The draw will take place at 6:00pm ACST on 31 July 2026 at our Newton office and will be conducted by hand (not by an electronic draw system). The draw is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winner.

7. Notifying & claiming the prize

• The winner will be notified in writing by direct message from @arenergy_au within 2 business days of the draw.
• The winner must respond and provide their bank details to claim the prize within 14 days of being notified.
• As the prize is valued over $250, the winner's first name, surname and postcode will be published on AR Energy's Instagram (@arenergy_au) and/or website within 30 days of the draw, as required in South Australia.
• If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the claim period, or is found to be ineligible, AR Energy reserves the right to draw a replacement winner from the remaining valid entries.

8. Use of entries & your details

By entering, you consent to AR Energy publishing the winner's Instagram handle and first name for the purpose of announcing the result. Any personal information collected will be used only to run this promotion and award the prize, and will be handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We will not sell your details. You can contact us to access or correct your information at any time.

9. Instagram & Meta

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram and Meta from any responsibility or liability in connection with this promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints about the giveaway must be directed to AR Energy, not to Instagram or Meta.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, AR Energy is not liable for any loss or damage arising from entering this promotion or accepting the prize, except where that loss cannot be excluded by law. AR Energy is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not received due to technical issues outside our control.

11. General

• AR Energy may disqualify any entry that breaches these terms or is fraudulent, abusive or not made in good faith.
• If the promotion cannot run as planned for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we may, where the law allows, modify or cancel it.
• AR Energy will keep records of all entries and the draw for at least three (3) months after the draw date.
• This promotion is conducted in accordance with the Lotteries Act 2019 (SA) and Lotteries Regulations 2021 (SA). These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
